Tóm tắt: Việt Nam và Cuba đã duy trì mối quan hệ ngoại giao lâu đời và luôn ủng hộ nhau trong quá trình đấu tranh giành độc lập dân tộc và phát triển đất nước. Với nền tảng quan hệ này, những hợp tác kinh tế giữa hai bên đã được triển khai từ sớm. Bằng phương pháp nghiên cứu định tính, dựa trên tư liệu thứ cấp được thu thập từ các nguồn tài liệu chính thống, bài viết này tập trung phân tích sự hợp tác kinh tế giữa Việt Nam và Cuba từ năm 2018 đến nay. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy, các lĩnh vực hợp tác chính của hai bên đều xây dựng dựa trên những sản phẩm thế mạnh của hai quốc gia: Việt Nam tập trung vào lương thực, hàng tiêu dùng,… còn Cuba phát triển về công nghệ sinh học, dược phẩm,… Hai quốc gia phối hợp với nhau qua cơ chế Ủy ban liên Chính phủ nhằm hỗ trợ, tạo điều kiện cho doanh nghiệp hai nước tiếp cận và khám phá các cơ hội hợp tác, đầu tư, cũng như tạo thuận lợi cho các dự án liên doanh và đầu tư của doanh nghiệp Việt Nam tại Cuba. Trong suốt thời gian qua, mối quan hệ kinh tế và hợp tác đa dạng giữa Việt Nam và Cuba đã vượt qua nhiều thử thách, mang lại một số thành tựu đáng kể, đặc biệt trong lĩnh vực nông nghiệp, và dự kiến sẽ mở rộng hơn nữa trong những năm tiếp theo để phát triển mối quan hệ đoàn kết, vì lợi ích chung của cả hai nước.

Abstract: Vietnam and Cuba have maintained a long-standing diplomatic relationship, consistently supporting each other in their struggles for national independence and subsequent development. On this foundation, economic cooperation between the two countries was initiated early on. Using a qualitative research approach based on secondary data collected from official sources, this article analyzes the economic cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba from 2018 to the present. The findings indicate that the main areas of cooperation are built upon the respective strengths of each country: Vietnam focuses on food and consumer goods, while Cuba advances in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. The two countries coordinate through the Intergovernmental Committee mechanism to facilitate and support enterprises in accessing and exploring opportunities for cooperation and investment, as well as in promoting joint ventures and Vietnamese investment projects in Cuba. Over time, the diverse economic relations and cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba have overcome many challenges and achieved notable results, particularly in agriculture. These are expected to expand further in the coming years, strengthening solidarity and serving the common interests of both nations.
